MANTILITY presents two of his artoworks,
“Greek Touch” and “Acrocorinthos”
Silk scarf Greek Touch
“Greek Touch” is a composition of architectural elements and ancient sculptures that are located in Greece. From the Temple of Acrocorinth to the figurines of the Cyclades. Borrowing the technique of duplication in photography, I apply it to painting by mixing the silhouettes of the figures in order to create a new composition. This artwork adorns the bottle of METAXA Grande Fine.

Silk scarf Acrocorinthos
“Acrocorinthos” or otherwise “Captain and Lads fighting”. A work based on the copper engraving of the German soldier and painter Karl Krazeisen, who was present at the events of the Greek Revolution and captured many scenes and portraits of the fighters of 1821. I had been assigned to create a painting for the Komninos Foundation and this is the representation of our anniversary scarf for 200 years of freedom in Greece.
