Leonidas Michalakos

Leonidas Michalakos was born in 1959 in Kotronas of Mani, Greece where he grew up. He graduated from the Panormos Preparatory and Vocational School of Fine Arts in Tinos with the well-known painter and sculptor Yiannis Maniatakos as his teacher. He attended the three-year seminar of Greek palaeography at the National Bank of Greece Cultural Foundation. He lives in Athens and works at the Conservation Workshop of the Acropolis monuments. He is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece.
