“Re-Mentality” UpCycling: As enthusiasts of circular economy and pro optimal uses of resources, we use resources optimally. We repair defective scarves and when this is not possible, we transform them into something new such as dresses, jeans, journals or kimonos [we have zero silk waste and we absorb 100% of the cost]. This one goes with Rusty Jim’s Silk Scarf  “A birth of melody called hope”: Mysterious landscapes where the concept of time and space have no existence. Figures and objects born in the subconscious are placed in such a way to intrigue the observer’s eye, often left open for interpretation. Bent reality, where words find a new meaning, gives the viewer the chance to look into their subconscious and explore philosophical concepts such as “the meaning of life”, “creation”, “mortality”. The seven colors of the spectrum are strongly linked with the seven musical notes in a wave-length manner, each creating different feelings. This painting is a visual representation of “A birth of a melody called hope”.
