Eleni Simantiraki ended up studying graphic arts after having already been admitted to the Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art. However, subjects like mathematics, biology, and chemistry held her back. She had also tried her luck in decorative arts, which, although creative, lacked the strong artistic element she deeply desired.
After working for nine years in the advertising industry, she not only gained valuable hands-on experience but also learned lessons that shaped her approach to creative work. What she considers foundational in everything she does is the importance of the concept.
As a freelance art director and illustrator for the past two years, the concept has remained vital to her—from the smallest assignment to the most ambitious project. Having now cultivated her own personal visual style, she seeks collaborations with artists and aims to create works that not only impress visually but also emotionally engage and transport the viewer.
