Silk Scarf “The Uniform of Hope”

Breathe is a non-profit organization founded in 2020 by Tatiana Blatnik to combat the stigma surrounding mental health.

Breathe Hellas, in collaboration with MANTILITY and under the design of Christos Koutsoukos, created the “Scarf of Hope”, a white scarf with empowering phrases from 28 top Greek athletes, Olympic medalists, and coaches who shared their stories.

Each one wrote their own unique message, such as “Believe”, “Dare”, “Love your dream”, “The best medal you can win is your inner balance”, which were printed on collectible silk scarves as part of the national campaign “Uniform of Hope”, with the dominant message #StrongerTogether.

This initiative by Tatiana Blatnik and Breath Hellas calls on athletes to become role models for mental health, eliminating stigma, promoting open dialogue, and encouraging young people to share their own stories.

In August 2024, Breathe Hellas, in collaboration with the Hellenic Olympic Committee and MANTILITY, donated 100 scarves of hope to Greek athletes who participated in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

We hope that no one will suffer in silence and that everyone will have access to the tools and resources to live as well as possible.
