The Party

Inspired from 14th century tapestries, décor and ornaments, as well as Arts and Crafts movements and its delicate and meticulously designed patterns. The Party is a contemporary version of wall décor aesthetics. As a modern tapestry, with non-repetitive motifs, brings together pop culture and tradition.  The subject, inspired from a vintage women’s fashion magazine, is a paradox scene, is implying and making an irony, about stereotypes, women’s way of having fun, always in a fancy emballage, open to the viewer’s interpretations, winking happily.
